The only way to make missions easier is if there are hardly anyone in them at all. This is in Prophecies sure you can use henchies but some have a hard time with them in higher level missions.I gave Thirsty some time ago with henchies and failed as well as THK.It is either that or come out with tthe long awaited henchie commands and make them a little smarter.

My suggestion is that the difficulty of this mission be drastically reduced so that normal players can complete, im not saying that lvl 14 and 15s should be getting through this, but I have tried this mission 3 times (tried to find a group about 6 but only succeded half the time) and failed due to bad plans and/or people who leave at the drop of a hat. Now I understand that the missions should be hard at this level, but I know that most people (like me) dont have an entire afternoon to devote to one mission. Anyway, I hope to see this problem get addressed. It should be known that I am a lvl 19 R/E nuker and the best team I was on for this mish included two lvl 20 warriors, two levels 20 healers, myself and a lvl 20 necro, pretty damn good group if you ask me and we died on the last battle about halfway through it.
I used to think Thirsty River was challenging, trust me I was dead wrong. Thirsty is just as easy as any other desert mission. An easy way to plow the mission is pick up a MM (god knows they're common now, maybe not as much in tyria). Another thing you have to make sure to have is interupts for the Monk boss and Priest which are a pain without KDs or interupts. If you have a problem with bad plans take over directing the group explain that every 2 minutes the priests will ressurect all the monsters you just killed so sometimes you have to wait 2 minutes so you have the maximum amount of time needed to kill all the mobs.

I've done this mission over 100 times on my monk (I keep track, its a hobby), and can solo it on my war. Learn some ACTUAL SKILL, rangers aren't nukers. The hardest mission in the Prophesies Campaign is Thunderhead Keep, and that mission can even be henched.

Because I'm feeling nice tonight, heres a Thirsty Guide:
I'm assuming you can get to the arenas ok, if not then you're hopeless.
First Arena:
Kill 2 patrol groups, then rush the priest. Take out all other groups then the boss.
Second Arena:
Hug the wall, dont aggro the group with the necro boss. Take out the ele boss's priest at about 1:30 or so, then clean up. Wait until either 1:45 or 3:45 before engaging the next Boss's army.
Third Arena:
Keep right, go warrior, ranger, monk. Controlling aggro is key to success, and dont move on to a next group until 15 seconds BEFORE an even minute.

The number one reason people fail this mission is they have a respawn in the middle of a fight. Kill those priests before 2 minutes have passed!

If you STILL need help after this, send me a whisp ingame sometime, IGN: Deivos Itasi.

Its really easy as long as you have an MM. Even after the nerf. I did it with 3 guildies that were less than level 15 and we almost never died.
